Solid Vertical Fringe

Blow Waving Fringes

Step 1: Wash your hair and distribute a small amount of Kerastase Ciment Thermique or Chroma Thermique working it into the back sections first and moving it around to the front sections. This is so you do not over-saturate the fringe with products.  It is always wise to use a heat protection product on your hair before blow waving and as the fringe sees the most heat ensure you evenly distribute your heat protection product in your fringe.

Step 2: Section off your fringe from the rest of your hair and part the fringe in two sections. This will give you more control over the movement of your fringe.

Step 3: Blow wave the first section straight down but lift the hair with your brush to project out from your face at a 30-degree angle curling the hair slightly at the ends.  Repeat the process with the second section. The smaller the brush the more control you have.

Blow Waving Fringes

Step 1: Wash your hair and distribute a small amount of Kerastase Ciment Thermique or Chroma Thermique, again working it into the back sections first and moving it around to the front sections and evenly distribute through the fringe.

Step 2: Section off your fringe from the rest of your hair

Step 3: Using either a paddle brush or a radial brush, blow wave the fringe straight down.  Depending on the thickness of your side fringe you can do this in 1 or 2 sections.

Option A - Solid Edge Angled Fringe

Blow wave your fringe straight down but this time projected out from your face at an 80-degree angle. (90 degrees is straight out) Curling the end of hair slightly around the brush will give a nice silhouette shape to the fringe.

Option B - Softer Edge Angled Fringe

Instead of holding your hairdryer above your fringe bring it to the side and blow wave your fringe towards the opposite side of where you want it to sit.  This will give it more height and better shape and body.
